Throughout North America, and in many other countries, K-12 schools have traditional methods of discipline. As a child with Asperger’s, I had a variety of types of education throughout my school years. These included self-contained, special education classes, mainstreaming, a special school, and resource room support. In this section, I will relate how my education worked for me from kindergarten to Grade 12. To protect the guilty, I will not mention the names of any of my teachers, only the initials. For the same reason, I will avoid giving the names of my schools.
