Solo walk across Ireland

In the summer of 2013, I took a solo walk across Ireland, after careful planning.

I started in Dublin and walked coast-to-coast from the Irish Sea via the Wicklow Way, the South Leinster Way, the East Munster Way, the Blackwater Way, the Kerry Way, and the Beara Way to the open Atlantic Ocean.

While most of the things in this website appeal primarily to older children, young-at-heart adults, parents, and educators, I would like to share my experiences as a preschooler, considering some of you might have children at that age or you might even happen to be a preschool or child care worker. As a child with Asperger’s, I had a variety of types of education throughout my school years. These included self-contained, special education classes, mainstreaming, a special school, and resource room support. In this section, I will relate how my education worked for me from kindergarten to Grade 12. To protect the guilty, I will not mention the names of any of my teachers, only the initials. For the same reason, I will avoid giving the names of my schools.
